On Thursday, June 19, from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., UWFox will host its 3rd Thursdays networking event to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Fox Valley Child Advocacy Center. The center, a collaborative partnership between Children's Hospital and nearly 30 community agencies, is a safe place for children who may have been neglected or abused, and provides resources to help children and their families heal.
This free networking event takes place on the Terrace at UWFox. Live music will be performed by folk rock indie artist Sara Zacek. Zacek is influenced by Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, The Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco, James Taylor and The Murmurs.
Event attendees can enjoy social and professional networking opportunities, light snacks and drinks from a cash bar. Those who are unable to attend can tune in to the live stream at http://new.livestream.com/uwfox/events/3088237.
Each month a different local non-profit agency benefits from the 3rd Thursdays networking event. Non-profit organizations interested in becoming a 3rd Thursdays’ beneficiary should contact Megan Mudge, events coordinator at 920-832-2889 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
